Blizzard Details WoW Forever Raid Attunements

Blizzard has shared new information about raid attunements in World of Warcraft: Forever, covering Onyxia's Lair, The Barrow Deeps and Hyjal Summit.

Of these three raids, Onyxia's Lair is the only one with a specified attunement requirement. No equivalent questlines are described for the other two raids.

Which Raids Require Attunement?

The absence of additional attunement instructions suggests that The Barrow Deeps and Hyjal Summit may not require separate attunement questlines.

Onyxia's Lair: Drakefire Amulet Required

Players must obtain the Drakefire Amulet before entering Onyxia's Lair.

This amulet is obtained through a lengthy faction-specific quest involving elite enemies and multiple visits to high-level dungeons.

For Alliance players, the journey begins in the Burning Steppes and leads through Blackrock Depths Blackrock Depths and Upper Blackrock Spire .

Eventually, the questline requires players to obtain the Blood of the Black Dragon Champion from General Drakkisath.

The Drakefire Amulet must be in your inventory to enter Onyxia's Lair, but it does not need to be equipped.

Blizzard recommends starting the attunement process early and bringing allies for the more challenging quests.
