Before reservations open, open the Battle.net launcher, select World of Warcraft, and choose World of Warcraft: Forever from the Game Version dropdown menu. You can then download and install the client ahead of time so you're ready when name reservations begin.
Once the reservation period begins, launch the game, select your preferred ruleset, and create your characters. You can reserve up to three character names across all rulesets during this period.
